Jonathan and Lauren Sanchez have been running this super cool bookstore since 2003
on upper King Street, in Charleston, South Carolina for years!
They are major supporters of the community!
They put on a number of events such as:
Write of Summer which is Blue Bicycle Books’ creative writing camp for kids
Poets in School which supports young poets in elementary-high schools
YALLFest Charleston’s Young Adult Book Festival,
When I was a kid, I used to participate in YALL Fest and had the opportunity to meet
some of my favorite authors.
