Dr. Eddie White has been a major community hero and supporter of artist and musicians!
He was the principal person who started the Music & Oysters for Wildlife festival that
featured local musicians at a massive oyster roast that raised money to support the \
Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge! It was a huge success!!
He didn't stop there…
He continued to find ways to help musicians showcase their work at different locations
Until finally developing AWENDAW GREEN which is absolutely AWENDAWSOME!!!!!!!
Where else can you kick back in front of an old barn chilling with your friends
with bonfires, lounge chairs, and amazing food and drink!!
Especially the wood fired Pizzas!!!
This place has been showcasing talent for over 15years!!!! and still going!!
You have to stop by if you are ever near the town of Awendaw on highwaty 17
It is a place of wild beauty nestled between the Francis Marion Forest and Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge
