The Green River Preserve is nestled up in the Appalachian Mountains.
It sits in the town of Cedar Mountain between the cities of Brevard and Asheville.
It holds a special place as it is where our family has been spending summers for many years.
I met my closest friends at camp and remain close to them to this day.
I started as a child camper and then worked as a counselor.
The entire area was devastated in hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024!
Then it was recently threatened by the fires of Persimmon Ridge and Table Rock.
Luckily, GRP survived!
This year, I'll be there all through the next several months there through Summer & Fall.
The forest, mountains, and experiences there inspired a lot of my music and influences.
These are the oldest mountains in the world where magical events happen.
Bears, deer, birds, salamanders, and many other magical creatures find their home there.
The whole place lights up as if flooded with fairies when the blue ghost fireflies come out in Spring.
I'll be performing for the campers and staff as well as doing gigs in the area.
I am looking forward to performing the songs from the Nereids,
as well as the new material I recorded in New York over the winter.
